RECOGNITION FOR SYLVIA - AT LAST!!

Sylvia Burt was the well deserving recipient of a Team London Volunteer Award for Individual Long-Standing Commitment last night. She received her award from mayor Boris Johnson and Arsenal footballer Keiran Gibbs at the ceremony held in City Hall recognising the enormous contribution that volunteers make in improving the lives of Londoners.

Sylvia was shortlisted from hundreds of applicants and was honoured for her 45 years of support and dedication to Broomfield Park Swimming Club.

It was truly special evening and a fantastic tribute to Sylvia, recognising the special place she has with us all at Broomfield Park swimming Club.

Broomfield Park SC was established in 1903 and is a family based swimming club that caters for all ages and levels of swimmers from learn to swim with our BPSC Swim School through to county competitions and beyond.

We are also lucky to have a thriving Masters section which also caters for Adult Development and Tri-Athlete swimmers.

If you wish to keep fit to supplement another sport, learn new techniques, have a great social activity with fitness thrown in or be taken to another level to increase your options in water then we are the club for you.

Please use our website to find any relevant documents that may assist you with your swimming and use the contact option should you wish to ask us anything at all. Most swimmers will start a trial in the Learn To Swim Beginners Lessons or once able to swim 25 metres in the Development Squad.
